We have puppies!   These babies were born in a South Louisiana shelter.  Their mom had been confiscated by animal control for neglect.   Mom is a pure bred black and tan doberman.  We believe dad was a German Shepherd (that was also seized from the home).  Shelter volunteers brought them and mom to us the day after they were born.  Sadly we lost two of the babies early on.  But these three little troopers overcame their dubious beginning and are now just little balls of bliss.  We named them after New Orleans musicians - Irma, Domino and Neville.  In hindsight Neville probably should have been named FATS!  They are almost seven weeks old now and ready to begin interviews for new homes.  Please seriously consider if you are ready to undertake a couple of years of puppyness and the training and dedication to turning our babies into the incredible dogs they have the potential to be.  As part of the process we will contract with their families regarding spaying and neutering which is REQUIRED for all our of adopted dogs.
